OUR APPROACH

Personal Attention
Each puppy receives regular care, handling, and observation as its personality begins to develop.

WHY PRAIRIE & PINE
Why Do Families Choose Prairie & Pine Canines™?
Prairie & Pine Canines is a small, family-owned breeding program built around personal involvement, honest communication, and thoughtful puppy placement.
A Small-Scale Program
We intentionally keep our breeding program small so we can remain closely involved with our dogs, each litter, and the families interested in our puppies.
Raised in the Family Home
Our dogs and puppies are part of our family from day one. They live in our home, grow up surrounded by everyday family life, and receive the kind of hands-on care and attention that comes from being raised right alongside us.
Thoughtful Puppy Placement
We take time to learn about prospective families and determine whether one of our puppies may be a good fit for their household, lifestyle, and expectations.
OUR STORY
Who Is Behind Prairie & Pine Canines?

Prairie & Pine Canines™ is our small, family-owned breeding program. Breinn began breeding dogs in the late 1990s, first raising yellow and strawberry-blonde Labradors and later several Labradoodle litters.
As we move closer to retirement, we are returning to breeding on a very small scale. Our dogs live with us in our home, and every litter is raised as part of our family. We value personal involvement, honest communication, and finding committed homes where each puppy can become a deeply loved companion.
Could a Prairie & Pine Puppy Be Right for Your Family?
Bringing home a puppy is a meaningful, long-term commitment. Our application helps us learn about your household, experience, lifestyle, and what you are looking for in a dog.
Submitting an application does not obligate you to purchase a puppy or guarantee placement. It begins the conversation and helps us determine whether one of our puppies may be a good fit for your family.
